I think most of the accounts of bullet sLpash I have heard have been on odd or extreme angles when bullets do tend to do some strange things.

It is hard for me to believe that any of them would sustain a double-stuff much less with no apparent damage?????

All I have used so far is a boresnake with Hoppe's #9. It appears to do very well on the carbon but probably wont get the copper out without a good copper solvent.
