Ya I agree Jack, you cant beat a real Weatherby, I wish I could afford 1. When I'm in huntin camp noboby ever asks to check out my Ruger but people always ask about my brothers Alaskan, "Cool. Can I see it?" I just poke fun at Walmart because I'm just old enough to remember a world without ...

Its new to me but then Im not as well read/up to date as a lot of folks here. It is interesting though. Ive often wondered about the Vanguard for accuracy. How good can a Weatherby be if you buy it at Walmart!?!?! LOL The 1.5" guarantee does not impress me. However, my brother has a Weatherby A...

Ausiboy , Check this out http://www.desertusa.com/may96/du_mlion.html They are a very beautiful animal. And strangely feared/hated around my area. You must draw a permit to hunt them around here but the are very hard on the deer population so I do know some folks that shoot them on site. Ive heard ...

janneuf , please let us know how that works out for you! I have been considering the same setup for a while now as even the $400 for a middle of the road ecaller is WAY out of my price range. I just dont want to spend the $80 either if its not going to fool the dogs. I already spent $50 on the Cass...

I promise Im not trying to offend!!! But I wish I could say $650-700 was a "little" pricey. If you go to http://www.varmintal.com/coy5-20.htm he has a pretty cool idea of how to build an ecaller using parts that you find at Radio Shack for about $70. I havent tried it but it all makes sen...
