I've not seen any pressure signs other than the slightest of primer flattening, I mean SLIGHT, even right at max. I would love to have a chronograph so I could try the, additional powder vs. additional velocity method. From looking at my brass I get the feeling I could go a good bit over published m...

Are Hogdon and IMR 4895 different much? I have seen them spoken of around here ALMOST interchangably (is that a word?!?!?!) That is a SMOKIN 35 grainer. I dont have a chrony so I dont have actual velocity #s but I have not gone over published maxes. I do have some Berger 30s that I can't wait to try...

Wow you guys are killing machines! I got 25 yesturday (counting only the kills I could see in the scope, even if I heard the Bang-Whop but didnt see a carcass I didnt count it) and I felt very fortunate just to have the OPPORTUNITY to get 25 in a day. Now I must say, I wasnt trying to break any recor...

Just to add my 2 cents, my gun agrees with most. Hornadys have been "acceptable" at best and Sierras are quite impressive. For what it's worth, the same is true in my .270 except for the Hornadys being "acceptable".

What length is your barrel? I've not read that barrel length is insignificant in the 204. There is an article on the home page that says, if my memory serves, that there is no significant gain after 26". But I do remember that Sierras info is gleaned from a 26" barrel. Your info seems to b...

I sure do like photobucket as I am a computer retard and it is VERY simple. I do have DSL though and have no idea how a slower connection would affect it.

My gun didnt like any factory ammo very much but the 34gr Win was one of the better for groups and did a very good job on a coyote at just under 100yrds.

DITTO. Brownings are very accurate rifles but most factory guns are pretty picky about factory ammo in .204. I would at least buy 1 box of each to try before you give up on it. Then if it still wont shoot under 1" I'm sure Browning would like to know about it and would probably help you get it ...

I like Ruger No. 1s post. You all know what I shoot at coyotes and pdogs!!! http://i136.photobucket.com/albums/q180/rugerdogdog/1210060951a.jpg I just refuse to believe that in this day and age Zumbo would use the word "terrorist" and not expect this kind of backlash. And in his apology he...

I just have to add to the "shoot it more" comments. It is not at all uncommon for factory barrels to require 150+- rounds to settle down. Mine needed at least that many. It still only shoots factory ammo right around MOA. I think the factory ammo is just not great. My very 1st batch of han...

Wow that's the kind of day we all dream about! Ditto the ??? about bullets/loads. And where abouts was this fantastic expedition? I really do need to start talking to some of the many ranchers around my neck of the woods. Great narrative too! I was riveted!
