Re: Tell us about yourself...
Hey KetelOne, I have the same Sav. 10 Predator max 1. It's a real tackdriver for sure. I've been loading 35gr. Berger's w/h335. Nice chuck by the way! Thanks! That's good to know. I am very pleased with that Savage. I have been sold on them for a few years, as I also have a Model 10 FCP-SR in .308 ...

Velocity & Varget
Hi guys,
I had the magneto speed out yesterday and got an average velocity of 3550 fps out of my Savage Predator (24" tube). I'm running 27.2 grains of Varget and a 39 grain Sierra blitz king @ 1.999" (ogive). Does 3,550 seem a bit "pokey" to you guys?

Re: Jewell trigger in Cooper rifles
I have 3 Coopers and I would have to say that if there is an option for a Jewell trigger, go for it. My Jackson Game rifle (25-06) had to be sent back for an extraction issue and an inconsistent trigger (varied 8 to 10 oz.). I also have a Phoenix (6.5 X 47L) and a Custom classic (.243). The former h...

Re: Tell us about yourself...
Hi All, I'm new to the forum from Maryland and I entered the exciting world of the .204 Ruger not quite a year ago, when I got my Savage Predator Max 1 rifle. I was wanting a Sako Varmint Laminate but decided that for the money I'd have into the Sako alone, I could get the Savage, a decent optic and...
