May well be worth some internet knowledgeable soul to see what works when doing a search or what a search engine sorts out.
I would think either sub caliber or small caliber something or other may draw more views. If you include “varmint” in the title would not hurt anything.

Re: Favorite Loads
Spread sheets? Yes there were some spread sheets set up several ways. I have looked all across the forum, the links no longer work in this thread. They were set up as most popular powders, average grains, bullets a lot of handy info and data compiled from many before I joined up here. It narrowed d...

Re: Favorite Loads
Is there anyway to get to the spread sheets? I thought I had them in a file and couldn’t find them. Came back here and the Kiel and share won’t share.

Shooters World Powders
Anyone used any in 204 Ruger, 20 Practical or 20 Vartarg?
I have looked at their data.
Just wondering about hands on use.
Thanks
Jeff

Re: New rifle or build…which caliber?
From what I see you have about everything covered on a 223 parent case. You have a 204 so I see little +or- in a 20P.
Go to a 22 or 20 BR. Either will give returns over a 223 case without pushing pressures.

3500 rounds in that amount of time I would have blisters on my fingers from loading magazines.
Any idea of hit ratio.
Ammo and components as high as they are, I am more hesitant to “throw” one in the general direction.

Re: Ladder load development testing.
Has anyone seen pressure tested loads on 20VT? I did a little work with my 17 Remington, ladder work of sorts. One target, 2/10 increments, too max. In theory there should be a nice cluster of several loads. My ladder/ramp stuck 12–15 bullets into .25x.6?@100. It was a waste for me other than my chr...

Re: RL7 in the .204...
Dunno what part of the world ya hale from. If I work up loads in the winter/fall and cooler temps, that is when they get used. I had a lot of time available one fall and worked up a few dog loads. That didn’t work out well in late spring. A royal PITA keeping ammo on ice in a cooler to get rid of it...

Re: Opinions on handloading new brass-
I FL size all my virgin brass, no matter who made it. Why? Because a number of years ago I traveled to a match a fair distance and had ammo that would not chamber due to a case size issue, because I had not FL sized it. Will NEVER happen again. I use a FL bushing die on a lot of mine any more. I bum...

Blackhole, Unmussig, Hammer, BIB only 40 grain. I know there are a few more, lost all my info.

Is there a list of current 20 caliber bullet makers any where?
I am building a 20BR and looking for some 50+ grain bullets.
