Re: First trip of the Year
Took the .204 out with its partner m3500. However this was a 23 yrd job for the 12 ga. Stand only lasted 60 seconds but was a great stand despite 3 ft high grass. Was excited to try the new eotech on the shotgun and it is very nice.

Re: Downsides to the 204 for coyotes
I only shot 32 vmax in the past ans they were great on fur. I always try to stop them between 100-200 yards. I tried the 40 federal Nosler bt and have been shooting them for a year and a half. Impressed so far.
A little video I made.

Re: 204 fur friendly round
Havnt shot a fox but the 40 gr Nosler Ballistic Tip from Federal serve me well. I keep a 12 ga with Hornady Nickle plated BB in it for up close and multiples up close. Try to stop shotgunner at 30-40 and .204 shots 100+. Closer to 150 is best.

Re: extreme range 600 to 1000 yds

Re: extreme range 600 to 1000 yds
Factory ammo factory rifle. Love Love Love the Tikka T3
663 yard 3 shot group well under 1/2 Moa
Factory ammo. Wish I had the gumption to make a load for this rifle but when it shoots factory like that why bother.

Factory Tikka T3 Varmint heavy barrel on a Harris pivoting bipod. Topped with a Sightron siii 6-24x50 ffp. Shooting factory Federal 40 gr. Nosler Ballistic Tip. Love love love this setup. Did this today and was blown by this set up. Still learning wind but if there’s no wind...coyotes be in trouble.

Re: extreme range 600 to 1000 yds
Just playing with factory loads at 400 yrds for now. I have a Sightron 6-24x50 and I agree with a little practice a 400yrd shot can be easily made. The 4 moa line on the scope puts me on target. Using federal 40gr Nosler Ballistic Tip. Gonna try 500 next chance I get. If anyone wants to try it the f...

Re: 2018 Going Postal 5 Shot Challenge Winners!!!
I would like to see what my target scored and where I placed. I do this to see if I’m improving. (Can’t get any worse.) If you don’t post them send me a pm. Thanks Skipper. It’s harder to do than hitting a p dog. I would like to see the results also, please. Thx for all the hard work skipper.👍

Re: 2018 Going Postal 5 Shot Challenge
Shot 2 targets this morning and things went from from bad to worse. Ran a bore snake through and fired One last 5 shot target. Nothing spectacular but it will be mailed today. I really wish I wasn’t the procrastinator that I am. 🤪
