I don't think hybrid. Cape, ears, tail and tarsals all say whitetail. But he do have funky, forked muley-like horns.....

'14 late season buck
Kilt a whitetail buck on the ranch this year. I was wanting a muley bigger than what I have. Seen this guy in the trees on the crick. He never gave me a good look, but I saw mass.... He stopped with only a small view of his midsection visible in the fork of a cottonwood. I could see tail on one side...

sidewinder, I just seen your question. Sorry for not checking back. Rifle was a rem 700 in 264WM. I was packing it expecting a long, open prairie shot. Instead, found him in the trees on the crickbottom opening morning. Maybe a 150 yd poke...... Hey, it happens.... Got the bonehead back from the bee...

I personally like the EMP over ANY of the 45 compacts you mentioned because of the smaller, slender grip. Kinda scaled down to 9mm and 40......

I mounted a Simmons 44Mag 6-24X44 scope on my gun. I am very confident about the rail and scope mount being secure.Big-D You don't seem to share the same confidence in the scope as you do in the mounts. I wouldn't either...... It cracks me up that folks buy economy rifles and scopes and expect them...

The PC has the briley bushing system, the slide cuts and a bit more hand fitting. You are right. The round butt does hide a bit better...
