stock savage 12 VLP with nikon 4.5-12...either 27.6g w748 2.245" oal or 31.8g cfe223(HOT) 2.242" oal with 32gvmax. cci 450 primer

My 1/12 savage shoots 45 grain factory ammo better than 32 or 40. Ragged hole accuracy. Im not convinced that 12 twist isnt enough

What are ya'll using. Im shooting a savage model 12 vlp with 32g varmageddons and 40g vmax

I have a savage 12 vlp. Same action and barrel. Im using 31g and 31.8g with nosler 32g varmageddons. Hornady brass cci 450 primers Both will do 1/4" at 100. I worked up very slowly to 31.8. This is well above maximums so be aware.

I am currently running 32 grain varmageddons

I am getting great close range accuracy with cfe 223 but high extreme spread in velocity. I have read of others seeing the same thing. What powders are working best relative to that? Thanks
