Savage .204 VLP
Hello, I've used 5.56 and 7.62 calibers and rifles for 22 years in Army. With that, I deliberately want to go in a different direction and learn a new caliber/rifle. My shooting application is known distance, steel targets only. I've really zeroed in on the Savage .204 VLP. Can a owner of this rifle...

Re: Tell us about yourself...
Hi Forum. Great to have found a group focused on what looks like a great round. Waiting to get my Savage 12 VLP .204 out of jail here in CA. Have a lot of experience with Savage .223 Rem variant and really like the capability of that combination. I'm looking forward to the .204, especially for 300+...

Re: Savage LRPV not up to expectations
My intention is not to be mean, however I must ask, have you really evaluated yourself as potential cause of accuracy issues. I've seen many a shooters get flustered with groups. Ive seen great success using a laser to determine if the shooter is problem. Any cheap laser will work. Have a observers ...

Re: Ruger American 22 RF?
I have the american .22LR. I've observed a trend of Ruger baskets, however after really reading their complete comments it become discernible they are the problem, not the rifle. I have about 2500 rounds through mine. The only limiting factor to this rifle really has nothing to do with the rifle its...

Re: What rifle?
Rick,
Thanks for the date check, I didn't even look at the date...I'm new to this particular forum and I'll certainly pay attention in future. I just hope the shooter who asked the original question might see the post and perhaps he may use something I put forth for thought...

Re: What rifle?
Hello, Over a 21 span in the profession of Arms, I've discovered certain truths, truths that to most are theoretical, not practical. I say all that to say this, your original question was in regards to gathering advice and counsel on a caliber for coyotes. It's great and necessary to gather input fr...
