I have 4 various model Vortex scopes and have no complaints. Two are the 6.5-20 power and this year I had to add a sun shield to them-can't believe I waited till this long to add it. R!

I sent 2 targets back today-one for me and one from my BIL. No need to get out the calipers, a tape measure will do for my target. My first big game rifle was Win. model 88 in .308. Although it isn't very tame as far as recoil I've taken moose, caribou and black bear with it. I got it as a high school graduation gift back in 72 and still have it. Another good choice for the youngsters is .257 and .243. Randy.
