I own a Tikka and a Remington 700 sps both brand new (within the last 4 months new) . Quality of the Tikka is worth the extra cash!

I just bought one in .204 last week. I tried a mid price scope and got decent groups (under 2" and just learning the rifle and trigger)
I think I can get it under 1.5" at 100 with a little work on the shooters part and trying some different ammo. (used factory 40 grain loads. )

Interesting thread. I recently purchased a TC venture in .204 and was curious about my groups. I tried 40 grain ammo and got 1.5' to 1.81 inch groups (3 three shot groups) I am an eastern coyote hunter so that is fine with me. Long shots here would be 200 yards most being 50 yards.
