Re: 204 ruger left handed rifle?
Have you looked at T/C. I have a Dimension that shoots lights out and I have really enjoy'd it. Dont know if that one is still available but they have a couple others that shoot sub MOA. I'm a lefty also! Plus if you want to change calibers just buy another barrel and not a whole new rifle.

Re: TO CRIMP AR 204 AMMO OR NOT???
I fooled around with crimping a while back with the Lee factory crimper. The reason I did was because I noticed several different factory ammo was crimped. Some like the Rem. accu tips have a heavy (bullet deforming) crimp in them and they shoot lights out. Was thinking this must be for a more consi...

Re: What bullets do you all like for coyotes
Ramos: I agree with you the beregers are very predictable and do a very very good job."My first choice". I made up a couple of pet loads one with 39 SBK's and one with the Bergers. My sbk's are shooting a little faster (3441)with 26.1 gr's IMR 4064. The Bergers are @ (3284) with 26.3 gr's ...

Re: What bullets do you all like for coyotes

What bullets do you all like for coyotes
Have been doing some coyote hunting this summer with the 204. I have two loads that are shooting very well, one using Berger 35 gr. and the other using the 39 gr. Sierras. Both are working great. I do prefer the Bergers though as they really hit hard and usually pass thru the coyote even when you hi...

Re: FLIERS ????
Well the problem with the dirty barrel is definitely solved. That J&B paste really works, I can truely say now that my barrel is CLEAN! I followed everybodys advice on how to work it a little at a time and we had her cleand up in no time. Got out my 243 barrel I had taken off the rifle which I t...

Re: FLIERS ????
Thanks guys for all your replies. My computer has been down for a couple of days and this is the first chance I've had to get back. I'll be ordering me some JB paste and with a little luck I can get them alien critters outta here for good. On a side note: I always thought that with the T/C Dimension...

Re: FLIERS ????
Thanks Darkker: I was wondering about that as you might have noticed in my post. It seems like I can never really get the bore clean. Every time I think I have it, I try one more solvent just to see and the patch's come out black as coal again, even if I only start to finish up with gun oil, comes o...

FLIERS ????
OK guys what gives with this little 204 and getting a consistent reload. I have been reloading this puppy for about a year now, every time I get a shooter, the next trip out with that exact same load, well not so good. Get them stinking fliers. Maybe three in one hole and one 1/2" out???? I alr...

Re: .204 Ruger velocities?
T/C Dimension, 22" barrel. Elevation 5650 ft. 26.3 gr. IMR 4064. 35 gr. Berger bullet. CCI 450 primers Rem. brass. 3284 fps. Most groups are in the .2 range. I'm happy to use the IMR 4064 as I now have made up some very accurate loads with it from 308- 30-30 223 243 204. Now making up a load us...
