I have had my pistol permit for the past year or so, mainly because my dad past down a .22lr/wmr revolver to me, and i needed a permit for transporting it t...

Re: bore guide?
I was thinking I would stay at school for an hour extra, prototype the first out out of delrin, then once its finalized, move on to some alum...I've already payed for materials with my tuition. I've looked at a few of the generic, universal BGs and it looks pretty simple, but for the 30$ it is somet...

Re: bore guide?
I'm in need for a bore guide right now also, but I am also a cheap @ss, so I am would rather turn one my self and save a few dollars. I think I have the gist of it, but how far does the bore guide travel into the chamber, I am assuming just to the shoulder?

Rick- Very nice set up, the only reason i painted mine was that i had to cover up my stock texturing (spanked epoxy) otherwise i probably would have kept it black. I still haven't shot it yet, but simulated prone position it is very steady, very natural, bipod is position at the perfect fulcrum poin...

When i began this project (my first savage put-together, can't really call it a build) i was looking for a good long range (relative term), high volume shooter. I'm on a bit of a budget so i purchased a sava...
