The kit I have is the wheeler one from midway. You can do both fire or hand lapping.It has the detailed explanation to hand lap or fire lap with three grits of compound 220,320,600. The things I have readed is that it will help keep the copper from sticking to the barrel?

What is the good or bad of hand lapping a barrel ? I've heard good things and bad things . I'm thinking about doing one of my guns. Thanks

You have it right! That guy is NUTS. He must have eyes in the back of his head. I use a foxpro FX5. They have a new one called the Fury. Its cost less than the FX5 and as more bells and whistles.So if you are looking for a good call that works will thats the one I would get.

Rick, That is how I hit that coyote at 415yds. I ranged him then put the knob to 425yds and put the cross hairs dead on him.Being he was up hill from me. It Works just great.

Old Turtle, Its A Leupold VX-III LR. Its a 4.5-14x50.I send it down to leupold and have M-1 adjustment knobs with the bullet drop calibrated for the load that I shoot. Its works Great
