Re: Redding Bullet Seating Micrometer #9085

I love my micrometer seating dies although mine are Forster. Greatly helps when you find the right bullet/powder combination and want to play with seating depths. Jim D

Re: FLIERS ????

Jim, toasty, thanks for the information. How many rounds do you guys normally get down your tube before a JB treatment? I know every gun barrel is different, but I was just curious on average round count. I think I might be cleaning my barrels too often, after every 30 rounds or so, using Carb-out t...

Re: FLIERS ????

I too have this flier problem & want some of that anti alien solvent also. Darkker, if this magic solvent is not for real, how do you use the JB paste? What are the steps using this paste? Thanks, Jim D

Re: Leupold vs Nightforce

Thanks guys, I surely appreciate your opinions. Since my original post I've purchased a couple Sightron SIII's. The last one a 6x24x50 30mm with the LRMOA-H reticle, like a varmint hunter but more detail. It has W/E 100 MOA. Very clear nice scope. Thanks & have a good day. Jim D

Re: .204 Ruger velocities?

I bought the magnetospeed a few months ago and really like it. I like the fact that you can install it right at your shooting bench without stopping or bothering anyone. Velocity matches up real close to my buddy's 35. Made in Austin, Texas I believe. Jim D

Bartlein barrel, 1-11 twist, 26 inch. Jewell trigger 3-6 oz. A quality trued & blueprinted action, I like Remington 700. McMillan stock. The scope as suits your fancy. JD

Re: 204 Accuracy Potential

fwiw, I've built 3 quality AR's using Seekins, Magpul, Black Rain, Geisele, and other high quality parts. My 204 has a 24" Shilen that shoots .750 if I do my part. The other 2 are 223's with White Armament barrels & they can and will shoot one hole groups. After some research, I found out W...

Anyone still shooting a 222?

I rarely see anyone talking about the 222 Rem. Just wondering why. I guess all the newer cartridges have made it sort of obsolete but I still love the triple deuce. Anyone still shooting it? Jim D
