Welcome BIKE. I've just been reloading the ar 204 about a year now. I've had pretty good results. Good luck to you and if I can ever help, just send me a PM. I haven't got to shoot my newest ar 204 with a WOA barrel, but I bet it does well.

Re: Electronic scale with RCBS Explorer kit
+1 for RAMOS. It took Forster, Redding, Lyman, Hornady, & Sinclair to make my reloading package so I'd like everything. Never saw a "package" that would make me happy. I can't say about RCBS, don't have one, but I've had 3 digital scales & my Lyman 2000 blows the others away. Just ...

Re: CC Mentoring Needed
Just a thought. I have my carry holsters made by Mr. Andrews at Andrews Leather, AWESOME!!! My favorite is the cross draw CarJacker when sitting or driving, you forget you have it on.

Re: 204 Ruger AR barrel
I think I've bought 5 so far & bought them all from Jane @ WOA direct. What I really like about my .223 barrels besides them being so accurate, and probably one of the reasons why, is they cut their own chamber & unlike most AR barrels, you are able to load out to the lands or where ever you...

Re: CC Mentoring Needed
Hi Jon. A couple more you might check out are the Walther PPS @ 21OZ. Nice, thin, light, & made in Germany. I bought one & like it for a small thin gun. Also you might look at the Kahr CCW which fits in your budget, I just don't care for the long trigger pull of the Kahr but nice guns. You a...

Re: 204 Ruger AR barrel
I've got the WOA, fluted, 1-10 twist just like you. Awesome!!! Had a 24" 1-9 Shilen before this one & was disappointed in it. The only one I know you can buy off the self 18" is a Wilson. I'd talk to Jane at White Oak about having one made or at least deep fluted and shortened. As a no...

Kimber Pro Varmint 204?
I'm looking at buying a new Kimber Pro Varmint in 204 Ruger. A buddy deal can get me one shipped for 1050.00. I looked up a lot of reviews, most all were from 2008-2010, & they were very mixed. Some said accuracy excellent others poor. The same about glass & pillar bedding, some good & s...

Re: Looking for a .30 caliber
With rifles in the safe from .338 cal on down to my .17's, I'll ask the same question......why? I do what you want to do quite handily with a 7mm-08 Improved. Much less recoil than the .308, excellent accuracy (.3"), proven hunting field use to 600 yards using the same basic case. Go with the ...

Skipper, totally valid concern. I will not let my daughter have a revolver just for that reason. I agree 100%.

Hi. Do you have the gas block & tube to sell with it? What kind of gas block & what hand guard did you use? Thanks,

Re: Need some suggestions please
My last comment on the subject. When I speak of " they always go bang", I'm talking about a weapon that shoots when clean, dirty, hot, cold, bloody, muddy, or what ever with just about any kind of ammo. A lot of pistols can be real finicky about ammo, especially hollow points. In my experi...

Re: Need some suggestions please
Oldfox, what Rick stated is pure fact, seen it way too much with courts & lawyers. What a shame. Hey Rick, roger the Glock going bang every time. That's the phrase I use when talking about my HK's.

Opionions on .22 Hornet
Hello. I've kind of had a hankering for a .22 Hornet just because I've never had one & have plenty of other 20's & 22's. I want it just to shoot & maybe small varmints & crows @ 150 yards & in. Been looking at the Ruger laminated but don't know. Anyone care to share their opinion...
