I've found that the fiocchi 40 gr vmax are the best factory load in my, savage walking varminter. Have not reloaded the brass yet though.

Hello, I'm new to the forum but have loaded that bullet. The oal of the bullet varied quite a bit due to the lead tip,but performed good on paper. My best 3 shot group was .333 at 100 yards, with 24 gr of Accurate 2520. Ended up loading 25.5 gr with 3 shot group at .381. Don't have a crony but i thi...
