Re: Source for a Short AR 204 barrel??
You've probably already found a solution....but I'll put in my .02$ in anyway. I just built a 204 AR for coyotes. I was like you...didn't want to lug a boat anchor around with me since I mostly walk when I'm calling. I found an 18" Tactical Fluted Stainless at Wilson Combat. Perfect for what I ...

Re: brass different brands
Or...you can send that crappy Nosler brass to me. I'll take care of it for you! :D JK....use the Nosler stuff. I never mix and match brass unless it's for pistol plinking. Accuracy is about consistency. Different brands of brass may be harder or softer, thicker case walls, etc etc. Like was mentione...

Re: Bipods
Rick, I like that shooting stake. I might have to try to build something like that myself. I really like the price!

Re: Bipods
Can I make a different suggestion? I have shot off of and used bipods, and I ended up going to shooting sticks. Bipods were just a tiny bit too short for me to shoot from the sitting position (which is where 99% of all my shots at coyotes are taken from). You can make your own sticks, so you can mak...

Re: Which BCG for New 204 Build?
Looking for advise on a BCG for my new build. Any recommendations? I think an easier question would be which one NOT to use. Any of the big manufacturers will work for you. Colt, DPMS,RRA, PSA, Bravo Co, American Spirit Arms...heck, even Bushmaster. One that most will warn you about is ICE Arms. Lo...

Re: Newest Build(s)
I sure will. I think when I get home I may send the 204 barrel off to Rainier to get the gas block pinned, and the barrel threaded to accept an AAC muzzle device....that way I can use my AAC can on it.

Newest Build(s)
Ok guys...I've been reading in here for quite a while as I went through my first 204 AR build. Thought I'd give back a little and post some pics and particulars of the final result. I was building a couple others at the same time so I'll include some pics of them as well, because...well, they're pre...

Re: AR Barrel
I just finished building an AR in 204. I ordered a Wilson Combat 18" Stainless Fluted direct from them. Haven't had a chance to really wring it out yet, but seems like it's going to be a shooter...and it's fairly light weight. I was going for a light, to mid weight coyote hunter. Haven't had it...

Re: 204 AR Build Question
I kinda live in the middle of nowhere. As far as I know I'm the only one out here that builds AR's. If I ordered a set I'd probably be the only guy within 200 miles that had a set...

204 AR Build Question
I'm building an AR in 204 and I have a question. Not my first AR build, but my first in 204. I have a BCG from ICE arms that I'm kinda iffy on. Heard some things about them lately that's making me think I need to verify headspace on their bcg. So....question; What headspace go/no go gauge do I need?...
