Re: Tikka t3 varmint vs remy 700 sps .204
The T3 Tikka varmint vs the Remy. After owning a T3 for two years I would not go near a Remy. Lets see, super accurate barrel made by Sako. Superbly crisp trigger adjustable down to 2 lbs. The smoothest action I came across, the feed from magazine to chamber is so smooth that I have to often double ...

Re: Neck size or full length.
I full length size new brass before the first firing, that is to square the necks before trimming to equal length. Subsequent firings I partially neck size only, because my theory is that the case is fire formed to the exact contours of the chamber, therefore making them uniform in shape which aids ...

T3 Tikka varmint, the barrels are made by Sako.
More accuracy than you can handle.

Re: score on 40 gr v max
You could try some win 748 !
My load is 28.5 grains in Winchester cases, Winchester small rifle primers.
Velocity should be 3700-3800 fps.
My rifle is a Tikka T3 varmint heavy barrel with a 6-18x 40 scope.
My best group Is about .3 for 5 shots.
Start at least a grain lower and work up to it.

Wrong !Motoshooter wrote:Maybe I try that next time. If zeroed at 200 I guess its gona be 3" high at 100yds, at least according to my first test of bullet drop. Right?
Just sight your rifle to have the point of impact 1" high at 100 yards.
You will be amazed how flat that rifle shoots!
