Re: ND Albino Prairie Dog Mount
Thanks for sharing - that is an interesting little guy to have mounted. All my roaming in ND and SD and I don't think I ever saw an albino PD. You must have the only one in the Dakotas!!

Re: 204 Ruger AR barrel
I have a Black Hole Weaponry in 6.5 Grendel (sorry not .204R). It went together well and with over 200 rounds, no issues and the folks there helped me to set it up right. A new bbl maker is also X-Caliber in Kalispell, MT. You can get a 6 or 3 groove AR barrel in SS or ChromeMoly from them. I just g...

Re: Fun Time in 2 ND PD Towns
Thank you for sharing Silverfox. Wow - I saw PDs rarely on the farm and never that much crop damage. They must really be spreading in ND. From a former farmboy, thanks for helping that local farmer. Also - I always liked those ground owls!! Fun to watch them through binoculars. I suppose the PDs are...

Temperature sensative 204 ruger powder Help!
Sidwinderwa - thank you for the report on H4895. It seems to be stable in several calibers. I didn't try it in the 204. Also a recommendation for the OP.

Winchester brass
I have seen it once. I tried to FL size. 2x through the die and it split. I put it in the recycle bin. Too much crease to recover the neck.

Re: 204 Brass Question
Thanks for the word on W748. I will get a pound next time I see it. jo191145, I found your other post from Nov. 4, 2012. That will help and the cleaner barrel is good news.

Re: 204 Brass Question
Thankyou for a little positive news on the Hornady. I have some loaded with SR4759 to simulate HMR velocity and hopes the barrel stays cooler. Maybe quieter than the fast loads. If Hornady can group 1 MOA or less to 150 yds I would be satisfied.

Re: 204 Brass Question
bow shot - I checked new brass, both Winchester and Hornady necks (about 6 each). The Win runs about .0115" to .012" thickness largest delta. The Hornady was .011" to .0125". This is Hornady Lot 4121064. I got them from Midway and it is the only lot that I have. I am hoping this ...

Re: 204 Brass Question
I have loaded some Winchester brass that I got last year. It seems to be fairly consistent neck tension and volume. Since that time I have only found a box of Hornady brass. A couple of the Hornady were not usable due to a small crack at the neck. I think the Hornady had much more neck tension until...
