I've been using 27 grains of vv n-530 with the 26's, at 4250fps there was no problem with expansion. Down to 3 lbs and if I see any more I'm buying all of it! Yes, I am a greedy and American.

I got a DPMS 24" .920 fluted barrel on one of mine. I also rifles with Shilen and and Criterion barrels. That DPMS will shoot with any of em.

Keep packing that N530 in there or try a different powder. Those large variations in velocity lead me to believe that the charges aren't consistent.
