I agree with the three gentlemen above, I have been reloading and shooting for about 50 years. And I am sure you will find that speed doesn't mean a thing if the bullet won't go where its needed.

I have had real good luck with Norma brass in my .300 Win Mag and ,45 Colt. Would definitely buy it if I could find it.

Thank you all for the replys...that information is what I have found everywhere. I load cast for everything I have, sure cuts down on the cost. But, as you say a paper patch bullet would allow higher velocitys. I think I will try and find a gas checked bullet mold somewhere. When I do I will let you...

Is anyone using cast bullets in their .204? If so where did you get the mold (mould) and sizing die?
