22-204 = 222 Magnum (222 mag is the parent case for 204 Ruger)
Even in a 22/23" barrel, the 223 AI will be 250 -300 fps faster than a standard 223.

Buy a blank, an AR stub, and a bolt. Rent reamer, call smith.

You may end up buying a 24" and having a smith hacksaw off the 4 or 6 you require.

Whatever vermin, that digs a hole, and leaves a MOUND of dirt that can support growing TREES....yes...the BMG would probably be the minimum DV (Dangerous Vermin) cartridge allow.

RIO....LOL! I thought you might enjoy this.
If I pulled up to a field with 8 foot diameter mounds that were 12" to 3 FEET tall....I would start wondering if I brought enough gun.

By HUGE chance, I stumbled across a Hornady Ammo Plant. Set up, but new. Well, kind of set up. Everything was in place, but, well....you get the picture. Looks like I have some reading to do. Re: 22 Long Rifle - 200 yards?
Thanks for the info.
I do have a small stash of Winchester Power Points and some bulk Federal. Need to get out and shoot a little to wring this out.
Will advise on what works in my rifles and one 10" bull barrel Ruger MII pistol.

Re: Ruger 10/22 Takedown Folding Woody
Ruger attached a mounting lug to the bottom of the barrel and the forend attaches to that with one screw.
The mounting lug includes an interlock that keeps the receiver and barrel locked up when in place.
