Re: Your favourite bore cleaner
Do you use the wipe-out foam only or blend in other solvents before/after?

Your favourite bore cleaner
Ive found I need to upgrade my cleaning methods since getting the 204. Just putting Hoppes#9 does not seem quite good enough. I guess these fast bullets and fast burning powders (Im using VV530 powder (nitroglycerol)) - makes cleaning more critical. Ok, enough bull, what are the best barrel cleaners...

Re: Where 2 go from here?
The T3 has a 12" twist rate - so it should be fine with those 32 grain pills

Re: Where 2 go from here?
Id really like to get 4000fps (and accuracy) out of this rifle. Should I try another powder?
I bought winchester factory ammo. It did a whooping 4150fps, accuracy was not super but OK. If they cam mass produce that stuff we must be able to do at least the same

Where 2 go from here?
After few tests witn N530 I found that 26.0 grains gave me best groups - 0,5" @ 100yds. A little more powder and groups started to open up. Im using norma brass and nosler 32grain bullets in my Tikka T3 varmint. Here is the problem, speeds were far under 4000fps and speed did vary quite a bit -...

Good news, got the FL dies working for me. Nice fit now, a bit of trimming still needed but shoulder issue solved.
Live and learn. Thanks

Re: Closing the bolt is hard.....why?
Yes I did and used the full size die to do so. Did not seem to work, at least not this time. Will look into die adjustments again...

Closing the bolt is hard.....why?
Gentlemen. Im reloading cases for a 6.5swede (great caliber by the way). After full sizing its hard to close the bolt, so I measured and its 55.10mm. Im my reloading manual case lenght is given at 55mm (2.165"). Slightly too long - So I trimmed the brass down to 54.80mm. Still it takes quite an...

Laser boresighter for 204
Gentlemen
Do you know if there is a good laser boresighter made that fits the 204 Ruger?
Id prefer a unit that works for other calibers too but mainly for the 204.
Suggestions?

Re: Bullet damage!
Again - thanks. Just finished working on the brass and my coffee. Seems to work better to seat the bullets, had two cases scrape the bullet though :( One question, is it possible the neck is too tight because I used too much force when resizing? http://i285.photobucket.com/albums/ll60/MOTOXLEO/A13F4...
