Re: 1:10 twist?

It will probably shoot all the bullets pretty good. Even the 50 Bergers. My 1/9 twist seems to spin the .204's a little too fast and sometimes they come apart down range. So now I use it only for the 50GR. Bergers. The 1/10 should be just right . I use my 1/12 twist for the 39's.

I'll second that about the Satern and worth every penny. They will sit right on the case without a wobble.

Re: AR-15 Les Baer

I have two AR upper's and one lower that was built by Dtech. You should also check him out. His web site is http://www.dtechsuperstore.com. He is currently building me a 6BR upper with Shilen match grade barrel. He even gives you a discount if you are a repeat customer. Good luck who ever you pick. ...

Re: barnes varmint grenade in .204!!

I was looking at them and noticed the disclaimer "keep them under 4000fps and they'll do the job" huh? we are talking a .204 here so why the under 4000fps? I haven't seen that disclaimer with the grenades. Where'd you see that? Midways dogtown bullets have such a disclaimer. Never tried a...

Re: 204 Ruger in the AR platform

Both of mine have them, But they are probably not needed. There is one guy on the predator mastors forum that had one with and without and he recommended them. Do a search at http://www.predatormasters.com and see if you can fine his post. Good luck.

Re: Interesting news, DPMS was just aquired by Cerberus

When I first started looking at AR's DPMS was offering a AR in .204. This was a year ago or more. I ended up getting 2 .204's custom made from Dtech. One complete and one just the upper. DPMS is the same as Panther Arms.

Re: 204 Ruger in the AR platform

Any one shoot one of these? I shoot a 204 Ruger but in a Target Grey Ruger.Going to the range tomorrow with many different loads and powders. The search now begins for the best load. That is the part I really enjoy, the constant(hopefully) improvement of the loads. :) I have 2 AR's in .204 that shoot ...

Re: Need a backup rifle.....any suggestions?

You should try a AR in .204, you might like it. I have 2 now and have a custom 6BR upper ordered for the long shots. All it takes is 2 pins and you have a whole new caliber cool and ready to shoot.

Re: Gunnison p-dogs are hibernating

AH - Those Arizona prairie dogs must have thin skin. Our CO BT prairie dogs will hang out all winter long as the sun is out. Jimmy - goin to the farm tomorrow night to spend a few days, maybe shoot a deer, sight in a buddies rifle and shoot some winter pds if they cooperate. Sounds like fun Steve. ...

Re: Gunnison p-dogs are hibernating

This past weekend my friend and I went to Northern AZ to our p-dog area with lots of rounds and nice weather (up to 70). We fired a total of NO rounds at p-dogs! It seems that all these Gunnison dogs had already closed up for the winter. From an article I read last week from the CO Game dept,...

Re: 1st PD Shoot

You'll have to trust me on this but 'joghotrods' Dtech is an absolute nightmare on pds and it has a reach not seen with your typical 1-12 twisted .204. If Jimmy doesn't post somethin then I guess I 'll have to....afterall my wife tooks the pics. Thanks Steve. I changed my order from a 6mm woa to a ...
