Re: Queston about a load and Chrono speeds

Hi Cooper,

I have 2 Dtech .204's and I use 27.5 grs. of H-4895 behind 39 SBK's and get around 3800 fps out of both of them. When I shoot 50 gr. Bergers out of the 1/9 twist it will be around 3400 fps. I use Varget with the Bergers. I shoot 39's at mag length and they work pretty good. :D

Re: Basic P.D. hunting questions

jimmy - is that what you do when you want to shoot pds. ;) No, I go see a friend in CO. and I was sworn to secrecy so I can not tell where. So don't let CO. outlaw live targets. :P Jimmy Shot a couple of hundred of them last Friday and Sat.....got up yesterday to freezing drizzle and cold wi...

Banning Of PD Shooting In Co

I read this on the Predator Masters Forum and I thought some of you guys may not know this. Here it is. Gentlemen, I am going around to the forums to notify us in the community that the Colorado Wildlife Commission is seriously considering banning varmint hunting in CO. On their website it states: &...

Re: Basic P.D. hunting questions

The 'outlaw' crap would only really apply to public land pds. There not many places in CO that are public lands and have pds. Not to worry.........I can get away with killing them for a depredation project as an agent of the farm. I just can't act like I like it. I guess we have to cry every time w...

Re: Basic P.D. hunting questions

Being down here in Louisiana we don’t have much in the way of varmints to hunt the way you folks up north and out west do, but I’ve always wanted to try prairie dog shooting. So I’m trying to make plans to give it a try later this year or early next. I’m at the start of ...

Re: Need a Starting Point on the 204 KM77VT Target Rifle

I have a rifle just like yours and it loves 27.7 grs. of H 4895 behind the 39 SBK's. Oal of 2.3 and CCI BR4 primers. One day I was out shooting at the range and a spider crawled across the corner of my target. Bad mistake, I shot him and when I went down to see the target, all I saw was a hole with ...

Do you think the Dems will spend less? That would be a first.

Re: Finally got my Baer

Now we know who has all the money. :) I shot a friend of mines Les Baer and it shot sweet. Very Nice! I got Dtech instead and they shoot pretty good too.

Re: Glass Reloading Bench

Here's another thought Jimmy. Take the glass off & get a sheet of 3/4 birch plywood. Trace the glass top on the plywood & cut it out. Do this twice. Get some carpenters glue & smear a thin coat over one side of the plywood & make a samich with the other section on top weighted down ...

Re: Glass Reloading Bench

Thanks for all the concern guys. I will be very careful and probably only use the press on the desk to seat bullets. It is a very stable platform to weigh powder. That piece of glass must weigh about 100 lbs. In the past I would set my loading stuff on the kitchen counter but rather than throw this ...

Glass Reloading Bench

Have you ever seen a glass reloadig bench? My wife hates this glass desk that we bought 30 years ago and wanted to get rid of it. I told her I would use it for reloading. So here is a picture. Will I break the glass? I had to use some wood to clamp my press and powder dispenser so it wouldn't break ...
