.204 @ 600 YDS Results

I shot the 1/9 twist Dtech AR at a 600 yd. practice session with some friends that shoot the matches with all the high dollar rifles. Even a David Tubb gun was there. Out of a possible 600 points the little .204 with 50 gr. Bergers shot a 598 with 33 in the X ring. This was my first time to shoot a ...

Thanks for the heads-up... I just bought some reloading dies & supplies, just for this reason. Of course, this thing with OSHA could really put a damper (understatement) on reloading, but I'm hedging my bets that it won't fly. I did my part, contacting my congressman & representatives...hop...

I now have 2 AR's in the .204 cal. One has the normal 1/12 twist and the other has 1/9 twist. They both shoot great. The 1/9 likes the 50 gr. Bergers because of the fast twist and the other likes the 39's. I know you will like the AR in .204.

I have used H 4895 and Varget in a 1/9 twist but not 10x. Let us know how they shoot in a 1/12 when you try them.

I have a ezup canopy I can donate to the cause when I come back. That would help with the sun. But when it is time to move it would be a pain. A large beach umbrella would be easier, just stick it in a PD hole. :D

Have fun and shoot some for me.

I put a RRA 2 stage that had been tuned by Dtech in mine and it helped a lot. Is yours a 1/12 twist barrel?

I will be back with more rifles and a new table if the Delrin is shipped. Hint Hint. I had a great time and it should be better next year if it doesn't snow so much and delay the birth of the pups. :D

Picture Of 1st PD & More Added

Here is the picture of my very 1st PD that I shot. I left the gory picture out. The Sat we went out we shot many more and I took a couple more pictures but they all look about the same. We shot at 3 different fields but we went back to the 1st one later and the PD's were out in force more than the o...

1st PD Shoot

Well I finally went on my first PD shoot. I met a forum member there and I won't say who because he swore me to secrecy about where we went.We were in the middle of miles of Wheat fields in SE Co. I connected on my first shot at about 120 yds. We didn't get alot of shots today because we started lat...

Hey Skipper, What year is your Vette? Do you ever check in with the Corvette Forum? I have a MY 01 Vette. I was wondering if any Vette owners were also varmint hunters and now I know. :D
