It is identical in every way to my VLP,length ,weight and shooting!! Even barrel position and stock length are the same.Standing side by side everything lines up perfectly. I have the same thing in .223. It was labeled as UNCATALOGED model 12 BGTV..The Blue job is the best I ever saw on a factory rifle.It looks wet!!

Titanium Nitride coating is excellent for forming.It will give you more lubricity and less friction. This adds up to less work hardening and longer case life. TiN is one of the first tool coatings and it's still holding it's own today. Good stuff.

I just mounted a New Leupold Competition 35X45mm Fixed power with 30mm tube and on my LRPV :D .I'm sure I'll have a range report next time out. Still waitin on the NF :x

After reading your post last week,Yeah, you guessed it . I was at the reload bench with Benchmark.(35 Bergers are already my favorite bullet). I loaded up about 100 rounds in ladder loads. WOW!!! Not one bad load in the bunch .150 being the smallest and .417 being the biggest. 25.8 was my best at 10...

on the 950.00 rule i paid a little over 900.00 but the msrp was over a 1000.00 I paid $819 for mine because I ordered before the New gun and price was known. Jo No ugly stock :eek: .Now I want one. Did you see one yet?? Or are they still "work in progress". I need a larger caliber target ...

I don't think you can get rid of that because when you tighten up the action screws the action is going to get sucked down into the aluminum bedding block and it controls which way your barrel is gonna go. Tom Tom you are correct. I was thinking of my VLP. It's been a long time since I had my LRPV ...

I saw a Rem 700 17 Fireball at gun shop. It had a funky plastic stock with grip pads.

Go with the F class 6.5/284. Looks like a cool gun.Not sure I like the stock though.I'll have to see if my gun shop will order one so I can look at it :roll: .
