Why speculate when you can easily get the facts. RCBS makes a nice little set with anvils and rods as light as .1 grain. Scales can be tricky little critters that's for sure. My Hornady electronic scale was one of them. I now use a Acculab scale and my only complaint is it might be off by .02 grains...

Here's a thought on trimming NEW brass....Some trim NEW brass before firing and some don't. As long as they're not longer than 1.845 and the mouth is parallel to the base your good to go without trimming.Now if you know your chambers length by measuring it, custom fit the brass to your rifles measur...

I gave my local gun shop a HUGE list a well over a month ago. All the powder and primers are in, just waiting on some Berger bullets. Looks like I got lucky . Now I just have to pay for it all. They also have lots of Rem 7 1/2 and GM205M primers in stock.
