Re: BUYERS BEWARE !!!!!!!!
According to my local sherrif and the police and sherrif in arkansas this is a civil matter and has to be taken to civil court due to the fact that it was a transaction between two private individuals and one individual did not hold up his end of the bargan. But on a higher note the postal service ...

Where to buy Remington 700 lefthand action
I'm contimplating buying another rifle, and since no one makes one with the specs i need, looks like this will be a full custom job. Does anyone know a good place to buy a Remington 700 short lefthand action?

Re: BUYERS BEWARE !!!!!!!!
Good luck. Bout 10 years ago a guy cancelled a cashiers check on me for a $3,500+ fluke scanner in Flordia. After months and months (about 6) of dealing with the post office, and the local and state police, it took a road trip to his front door to get my money. Things may be differant now, but back ...

Some Questions
Well, I have everything except my chronograph to start load development, and I’ve got a few last questions before firing those first reloaded rounds. Bullet seating depth: What is the minimum amount of the bullet that needs to be in the case? After doing all the measurements on my chamber I s...

Re: New Load and Bedded Action (With Pictures)
I bought 320 rounds of Hornady (all the same lot number) for brass. I had that same idea till I tried to uniform the primer pockets today on the hornady brass. Exetremly tight that it's about impossible, and the ones that i was able to ream, half of them were deeper then the reamer. I've got 260 em...

For the custom reamers, is it possible to get the reamer and redo a factory chamber on a factory barrel?

Re: Primer pocket uniforming. Tight pocket.
Here i thought the hornady brass was going to be better. Live and learn. The Hornady brass was about 0.005" shorter, but they weight around 6 grains more. In this savage my chamber is 1.868", and the shortest Winchester brass was 1.839", so they all got trimmed to 1.838". One thi...

Primer pocket uniforming. Tight pocket.
I've about got all my stuff to start reloading, minus the chronograph and WS2, so i'm in the process of getting the brass ready and all the initial measurements for each rifle. The once fired Winchester brass was easy enough to uniform the primer pockets; amazing the differance between depth of the ...

Re: Savage mdl 12lrpv
I seem to have gotton a lemon LRPV, no one else has complained one bit. But FYI, i had to remove 1/2" of stock so the barrel would be free floated, and after 190 rounds it's still laying copper perty badly in the bore; rifling looks rough. The fireing pin hole also seems to be sloppier then a t...

Re: Ok, what's going on here!
Even though i didn't start shooting it till five months ago, the rifle was purchased over a year ago. Problems with the stock, now this. I had a savage before a few years ago, and this lrpv will be my last. Maybe i just got two lemons in a million, but it really leaves a sour taste in my mouth.
