i read an article recently i think it was in varmint hunter mag
The author went though some extensive tests and came to the conclusion that neck turning was a waste of time. No decernable improvement.
So who knows.

Think about it .once the bullet leaves the barrel it is no longer being pro...

Varmonter; Have you got a link to that site you were looking at. I checked Leupold's site and they state in their custom section that they can only put illuminated reticles into scopes that are designed for them in the first place. I hope you are right! An illuminted reticle Leupold would go very n...

Thanks after looking at the optics planet site
I found leupold can custom make anything you want.
If you want to wait 6 weeks. so maybe a 1.75-6x32 vx3 IR is in my future.

so singleshot you can get a 6-20x with an IR

siverfox thanx my comment was really rhetorical in regards to the 1 ft/lb nrg for every pound of coyote which was corrected. I know with a 10mph wind the hold off is quite acute.I don't think i would really try a 1000 yrd shot with a 204. I'd be hard pressed to find 1000 yards of open land around he...

I have a 77/22 standard hornet. It works great. Not sub moa but moa at 100 pretty regularly. I shoot calhoons 37 gr dbbl hp over lil gun. I have been thinking about getting it rebarreled to a 19 calhoon. 3000fps woooo.... If for any other reason to trade the 22m for a hornet..you can reload..
