I have a Er Shaw custom 18 inch sporter barrel (stainless fluted) in 17 hm2 . Fits ruger 10/22 (you will need the heavier bolt handle). List for 222.00 on shaws site. I bought an fx3 on ebay for 250.I then sent it to foxpro and upgraded to an fx5 for 200

Ive had good luck using a 22 hornet on fox.
Me thinks the 204 is a bit much for em.
i think the 45 gr sp might be the best bet
as mentioned above.

probably better off with the shaw than stock. I have a shaw in 17hm2. it shoots ok not great but it's a sporter and its a 10/22 conversion .would prorbably be better in a bolt gun. Looks like it's a money decision for you. If you have the bucks go with the pac-nor If not go with the shaw i mean it's...
