Try a ....243
For years I have used a Ruger .243 with a heavy barrel cut down to 18 inches it will take a Pronghorn Deer or squirel. Just be for I cut back to the 204 I had made a 5ll yrd hit on a sage rat with it. The 243 is easy to deal with it is not finicky about its ammo and recoil is light I shoot 70gr bull...

Get your self a wall bracket for a mag light and tape a mag light with a red or amber lens to your shot gun barrel it works good when you have no partner.

It would be nice to know out of a 180 teams how many coyotes where taken I know I hunt a lot of hours to get one. I've been skunked since a year ago last November. I took 8 coyotes that year hunting all year long. I have located 8 large packs I am guessing around 40 coyotes living together with in a...

I love to use my 204 but sometimes have to revert to the ol Shot gun I use #4 buck never heard of T shot. That is a fancy looking Rifle! Do you hunt with a partner or do you pack to guns. There has been times I've thought of going out with both at night because you never know how it is going to work...

callers
I have my old Johny stewert caller on the floor board of my Xterra and the speaker taped to the roof rack. At night I drive along the roads and locate the packs with the Howler tapes by stopping about every 1/2 mile or so and playing the howler tape to locate the pack then decide weather to try a ni...

Thanks for the info
I am not against building my own when I think I can make some think that fits my needs for less money! I've put a few things together that have worked. In my life I've had money and I've had tight times. I can solder and have a grasp of electronics. The Idea of making something better and handier in...

Using E callers at night
since a lot of my hunting takes place at night operating a remote caller in the dark can be a pain. I have a $50 dollar Remington remote which I have to memorize the button potions because a red light makes the labels unreadable at night and has no remote volume control. The Cass remote caller I hav...
