Re: 32 v-max for coyotes
I have had great success with the 32gr Vmax the price is right. The accuracy is good and the coyote drop on the spot. Great pictures thanks for posting.

Re: Update on Ruger 77/17
When I get back from my trip I will contact Ruger. I have sent rifles back to them before and wasn't impressed. I suspect that the barrel is the problem that there is a flaw some where.

Re: Update on Ruger 77/17
Ground back the bedding and fully floated the barrel. This did nothing to help. The rifle likes 20gr full metel jackets. I am tired and discusted. Iam not sure weather to change the barrel or not. One thing thats sure is that this rifle stays at home when I head north for ground squirrels. What I wo...

Re: Update on Ruger 77/17
I bought some CCI 20gr game point bullets. My rifle doesn't like these ether it seems to like the full metel jacket bullets I was hoping to get away from these. The game points shoot 4 inches to the right from the fmj's. and like to fly around. I am breaking the stock down to grind back the bedding ...

Update on Ruger 77/17
I found that the rifle likes cci 20gr ammo it loads from the three magezines fine. Hornady ammo for some reason doesn't load well or group well out of this Ruger. I installed a Rifle basix trigger. Easy install and just one quarter turn adjustment done deal. I have floated the barrel and glass bedde...

Re: Ruger 77/17
I will get it working myself. The triggers on my other Rugers after changing them out are great I have two Remingtons that I have yet to get the triggers working as well as the Rugers I have thought about selling the Remmingtons. Once I have the Rugers dialed in they are great shooters. I parted wit...

Re: Ruger 77/17
I ordered a rifle basix trigger and two magazines and will have to wait. I was surprized that the barrel isn't held by a block like the 10/22s is this a good thing or bad?

Re: Ruger 77/17
It was cold and windy this afternoon but I managed to test fire the Ruger 77/17. After floating the barrel I got it to group but the trigger will have to go. I can't imagine why Ruger would put so much effort in the looks of the rifle and have such a stiff action and stiff trigger let alone a gun th...

Re: Ruger 77/17
To day I took the rifle out again to shoot and the bullets where all over the place looked like I used a shot gun. I brought the gun home and free floalted the barrel and polished the bolt face sear and any thing I could get to with Fitz polish and a drimmel. The day was a waist of ammo. Hope fully ...

Re: Ruger 77/17
When I bought the rifle I figured I would have to change the trigger out from all I have read from other owners. I have been using the 17gr Vmax bullets my Savage really likes them. I am going to take the rifle out again and shoot and clean the barrel I hope it settles in. I am not sure yet what to ...

Re: savage 93btvs
The 22mags a great round but I did watch a guy in Florida on youtube take down two pigs with the 17hmr each a single shot drop on the spot.

Ruger 77/17
I bought a new Ruger 77/17hmr Beautiful gun on the out side but has a 5lb12oz trigger that slides forever before firing. The bullets haven't seddled down to a group yet it spits them all over I have been running a brush and patches down the barrel every nine shots. Some of the rounds won't feed in t...

Re: The King of Predator Hunting..............
Holy cow some one has cabin fever. Who is worst the one who hunts the coyote or the one who obsesses over the coyote hunter? I think fangtooth has us pegged. I also think he needs to step out from behind the computer screen for a while. Thanks for that new experience.
