all i have tried with the 34 DT was 26.6 of benchmark .75" @ 3770 with my cooper and 1 1/2" @ 3619 with rem 700 both with cci 450 i tried because its one my best with 35 bergers .211 @ 3868 fps in the cooper w 26" bbl and .587 @ 3720 with a 24 " bbl on the remi. edited for veloci...

JO191145 my lrpv shot .75 with fed prem ammo and high 2s to low 3s with 55 noslers and h380 but this is all i have tried. i think ill order some 69 sierra mk and try them also. on the 950.00 rule i paid a little over 900.00 but the msrp was over a 1000.00

congrats on your win. just got a mod 12 lrpv in 22-250 that shoots awsome but the 6.5-284 would be real nice also

i have a 20 br with 9 twist bbl and with 39 bk see about 4175 with h335 when they start vaporizing but have pushed them to 4250 with benchmark without any problems

i have the howa 1500 .223 it shoots a really good group the trigger does have a little bit of creep but not to bad

Rick you just flipped another light bulb on in my head. real good point dust was the main reason i use them on my hunting rifles.i had just been putting the scope cover back on when loading rifle in truck on the rest of them . but i have also had problems with dust and solvent when shooting at paper...

rick both yours and silverfox are real good metheds but the flip covers are used mainly on my hunting rifles also would have to put on specs to read that close to eyes

I have hunted grasshoppers with 22 LR and bird shot but never got 9 out of ten these guys are moving on when you jump them

on the 50 gr berger they recomend a 1 in9 and today i got to shoot a few p dogs with them ( tac 20 1in 9) not much explosive effect after 350 yards just knocked them over with small hole in and med hole out but the 40 vmaxs scattered body parts every where
