Try to get a varity and see what your gun likes my cooper liked hsm from cabelas but my rem liked what else remington brand although both had anoying flyers any more i just roll my own

i use the new rcbs univesal what i like about it is the universal shell holder and shut off gate on the primer tray what i did not like was having to take it apart to swap from small to large primers so i bought two one for large i for small also have lee auto prime but dont use it anymore

i love my cooper 204 i shoot it first and then swap to my savage or ruger as my bbl start to warm up if i my sons are with me i will have to go to the remington because they already using the others (it has the poorest groups )

I had a co worker killed last night around canadian tx myself was about 7 7 miles in oklahoma and got shook around pretty good. stayed up most the night watching the weather. not a pleasant night by no means

goody the savage also should have a 1 in 9 twist if you can shoot some heavier bullets it might help just a thought.

it may not make accucary any better i also use these in my howa 1500 223 and groups open up a little bit i might be able to load a load it likes better but have to many loaded up right now

rayfromtx you are right about being careful the .224 cal. is a 80 gr bullet and wont stabilize in a 1in 12 i saw perfect keyholeing @ 30 yards but the .20 shot very well

thanks that what i was thinking but i still got a rem. 204 that never did shoot that good even after countless rounds thru it so i think it wont hurt to shoot a batch down it .

i believe it was midway but i will try to find out i do know they were 39 gr blitz king so i had fun shooting dogs while cleaning bbl every 10 rnds looked in midway cat. did not see them i might have ordered them from tubbs website

tubbs finish system

i used these in my 22-250 i saw improvements from 3 to 4" groups to about .75" with just about any bullet powder combination also in my ruger m77 204 went from 1 1/2" to .75" with some loads.i guess my question is are these as hard on the throat as posted in past posts
