The temp was about 20-25 C, elevation is 1000 feet above sea level, it was cloudy but not overly dark out because it was around 2 pm, and the chrony was 10' away.
Thanks for all of the help and information.

Re: How thin do you shave your case neck? ( Neck Turning)
I have a pacnor barrel, thanks for the quick responses so I don't have to throw out many cases. I was neck turning just to clean up the necks and to take out the high spots.

How thin do you shave your case neck? ( Neck Turning)
Before neck turning my case neck thickness is 0.013" and after it is 0.010" it seems like I'm shaving off quite a bit. Is this too much or not enough? What are the consequences of shaving to much off?

Re: Ordering a Barrel From PAC-NOR.
I sent PAC-NOR a email regarding shipping rifle barrels to Canada and this is what they had to say.
"We currently ship "steel tubing" to your country via the postal servicewithout a special permit from this side. Regards, Penny"

Re: Ordering a Barrel From PAC-NOR.
I checked out the Canadian Customs web site and searched the firearms section and it did not show barrels as being banned from importing nor were they on the site.

Re: Ordering a Barrel From PAC-NOR.
Is their a distributer in Canada who makes custom barrels or have make high grade barrels? I want to change the barrel because my barrel twist is too fast and is having a hard time stabalizing 40 grain bullets. Edit I have approximately 2500 rounds through the barrel so far and by the time I get a n...

Ordering a Barrel From PAC-NOR.
This summer I would like to replace my stock Remington barrel on my Remington VS-SF II with a PAC-NOR barrel but I have a few questions before I get started. (1) I live in Canada and would like to hear if anyone had problems getting the barrel across the border. (2) I like the stock dimensions of my...

Re: Need help with reduced loads, barrels, and head space gages.
I called Sinclair and they helped me with the head space gage and I'm sure that I can't go wrong with either barrel I was just looking for some advise. I am still looking for reduced loads if anyone cares to point me in the right direction or let me know if it is not possible.

Need help with reduced loads, barrels, and head space gages.
I am looking for a new barrel for my 204 Ruger, I have narrowed it down between Krieger and Pac-Nor. My primary bullet is the 39 BK and 45 soft point how ever I'm interested in using reduced loads with the 32 V-MAX. Which barrel would you recommend? What twist? How many groves? I was thinking either...

Re: Reloading for variouse temps.
There is a fair bit of velocity difference due to the air being more dense in colder temperatures. I will post my groups from when I shot it in 75F and after I shoot from this weekend and then we will be able to see how much the temperature affects the Varget powder, if I can do my part.
