Are those 3 shot groups? Yes. Have considered trying five shot group? Not after seeing the three shot results. I'm starting to panic because i don't know if i will find a good load to shoot in the online shooting event. Have you had an opportunity to try Alliant's RL10X? I've been very satisfied wi...

Would you give up on this load? ( Pics)

The rifle is a Remington VS SF II with a Bushnell Elite 4200 6-24. I think I'm going to buy a jewell trigger and that might help my flyers, the factory trigger is brutal. My load is 27.7 grains, Rem BR primer, and a 39BK with seating depth varying from 2.250-2.290. Would you keep playing with the se...

Kirby - is that your "leather" hanging on the door knob?
No it's my Dads.
Try CCI450 primers with H4895...or Fed 205M.
I will give them a try, the Rem's are not doing to well with my set up.

I have only used 205 and 7-1/2, so far I like the Remington primers better for H 4895. I ordered some CCI BR4 to try out. When I was testing out some loads I chroned 39 BK with 29.4 Grains of BLC (2) and fed primer and the mv was 3827. I thought that was a little fast for that charge and I took out ...

Not sure if this has been covered before but when using the 39 BK is it OK to sub data for the 40 gr. hornady? My sierra manual says max for the 39 BK is 26.6 of H4895. Hodgdon says the max for the 40 hornady is 27.7 C of H4895. Why the big difference? From my experience it is safe to use Hodgdon l...

So I take off the knuckle and the depriming pin, spring, and a black piece that holds the spring will come out. This leaves the sleeve left and the body of the die, then i put the bushing in face down. I'm lost when you said give it a 1/8" turn of slope.
