Re: Reloading for variouse temps.
Thanks for the help. I'm going to shoot a group and then I will be able to tell if I have to work up a new load.

Reloading for variouse temps.
I have found a good load using Varget powder however this load was developed with temperatures around 75F and now the temps are between -10F to -20F. How much more powder should I add to make up for the decrease in temperature/pressure?

Re: Would you give up on this load? ( Pics)
I'd be tickled pink with ANY of those loads, frankly. Not many coyotes or PDs can get away from those sized groups, in any event, even with that "awful" H4895 . Either way, I'm happy if you're happy . You are right, I took out some targets that I shot with factory 32, 40, 45 Hornady, and ...

Re: Would you give up on this load? ( Pics)
Thanks for the help I will order some CCI BR4 and some CCI 450's.
To be honest I have no clue, but after seeing what groups BLC (2) and Varget would produce I knew that my gun/components combonation didn't like H4895.Exactly what size groups were you expecting from a factory Remmy?

I have given up on H4895 with Rem primers when using the 39 BK. Here is a five shot group of 39 BK on top of H4895. http://i66.photobucket.com/albums/h245/kirbymagnum/Picture001-2.jpg Here is a three shot group with Varget using Rem 7 1/2 primers and 39 BK. http://i66.photobucket.com/albums/h245/kir...

When I get results like that top picture - I'm the culprit. Looks like three shots almost on top of each other and one way out to the right? Am I reading that right? Two shots almost on top of each other and the third shot out. I have a hard time thinking that its the load too, if two shots will go...
