i have rounded up some cfe223 and some nosler cases. looking forward to work easing off some for the cold weather, so i can do another round of testing! glad to hear yours is liking the powder!

like you, i have always used winchester primers for small rifle applications. they have proven time and time again to print the smallest groups in some cartridges, and i don't reckon i have ever had one fail to go bang. i use them exclusively in 223. SO! when i got the 204 i didn't even give any tho...

i apologize for running off-track here, but, RJ, can you tell me what your bottom metal/mag is? i have a rem varm 204 in an older hs precision pss stock, and am trying to decide how to come up with a det mag system.

man, it is crazy how different 204 guns respond to o.a.l.! mine is a very recent production sps varmint, in an early h.s. precision PSS stock. the first rounds i used in it were previously worked up for my ruger number one, and their oal was 2.260. they shot great out of the remington right off the ...
