Re: velocity

i have a ruger 1A with a 22 inch barrel, and i am just now finishing up a remington 700 varmint/pss project with a 26 inch barrel. i have worked up a 40g VMAX load for the ruger that i shot in the remington also. it is averaging 3588 out of the ruger, and 3686 out of the remington. i am just in the ...

finally found some 7 1/2s!

well, i had to drive into the neighboring state (tenn), and paid 49.95 plus tn's big sales tax, but i finally got a box of remington 7 1/2 primers (and an awesome pizza)! i also recently rounded up some 39g sbks, so i am eager to work up some new loads! maybe things are slowly starting to return to ...

Re: No brass anywhere !

how many shots are you guys getting out of hornady brass? it is the only thing that has been available, since i got my 204. i have been carefully checking them with a bent paperclip after every shot, and some of them are getting a "groove" in them after only 2 or 3 times. i thought i was r...

Re: Favorite Loads

i am still working up new loads, too, but am having the same problems with winchester primers. i really wish the current craziness would settle down a little, and stuff would start to show back up in the real world. i haven't seen a rem 7 1/2 anywhere since i bought the gun! i am still using the win...

hopefully, everything will eventually return to normal, or at least close to normal. at our last local gunshow, a little reloading stuff reappeared.

good luck!
