Re: Parallax Question
like jo said, use a good solid rest and after adjusting the parallex move your head around to see if the cross hairs move on the target. you want the cross hairs to look as if they are painted on the target and they do not move.

308 load help
I plan on getting 4 different grain bullets to try. I will be getting them from bullet samples and will be trying the berger match vld in 155, 168, 175, and 190 grain. I also will be using H4895 powder. now for the most part there is a 2.5 grain difference from start to max loads. So my question is ...

We all like this post. hope they have a hard time finding a way to replace that little old 3/4 of a million. still hard to take hearing about gun clubs and ranges shutting down, hold on to your guns real tight.

Re: Powder for 204 and 243

I have a great load for my 204 and have been working on one for the 243 and its showing promise. now I am also going to try it in the 308, I just would like to have on pwder for those three calibers and at some point add the 223 to this powder. I like little bug holes and...

Re: Fired my first rounds - need suggestions please.
all you do is push the trigger forward untill you hear and feel the click. but before you use it try it first with an empty gun, it may need to be adjusted. you can dry fire the set trigger for adjustment and be careful not to have it to light. its explained well in the manual.

Re: $1,000,000.00 insurence policy for gun owners?
I was watching Glen Beck today and gun control came up. Someone in Ill. is proposing making gun owners have a million $ policy to be able to own guns. If you can't afford one, and you keep your guns then that is a felony. How come liberals punish people who play by the rules, and reward criminals a...

Re: Barrels & temps.
O.K. to change the subject just a little. If I am shooting and my barrel gets warm not really hot at this point can I put a cold wet towel over it to help it cool. I am one that don't like going from hot to cold with expansion and contration going on. I have heard of people doing this but it just so...
