Re: Postal Shoot

I have been working on one, but I am very computer illiterate. I have the rules and target more or less ready to go but I can’t seem to post the target as it is a file and not a picture. If someone would let me sent them the file so they could post it that would be great. Also if any one has ...

Re: matchking 4 hunting?

Thanks guys for the info. I think I will try them until they fail me and the deer. RIO I think if the are facing north I will shoot them in the left eye and if they are facing south the right eye. the west would be the chest and well the Texas heart shot if the are facing east. LOL

another SMK ?

I am reloading some 308 win rounds. heres my question, at 42.9 grains I am compressing the H4895 powder. my reloading books say max load is at 43.5 grains. I really dont think that 43.5 would come close to fitting in the remington brass. I am loading the sierra matchkinks in 168 grain. I have check ...

Re: matchking 4 hunting?

Thanks RIO
I like the accuracy and try to put all my shots were they count. I think I will work up a load then do the phone book test to see if I want to use them deer hunting (deer shooting)

matchking 4 hunting?

I shot some federal premium 308 win. and they performed outstanding in my new Remington vtr. I want to start reloading for this gun but I want a hunting round not a paper round. my question is will the sierra matchking be an ok bullet for deer.

Re: In regards to for sale post.

For the same reason I will not shop at places that are taking advantage of a bad situation. For some one to walk into a gun shop buy all the primers on the shelf so there are none for the next guy who walks in, then sells them for double or triple what they payed for them is not right. How bout I bu...

IDBOB
I always looked forward to reading his post, a man with the know how. he was one reason I bought my cz varminter in 204. His love for the round shinned in his post.
God bless you IDBOB and I hope you are enjoying chasing the critters on the other side

Re: You have to support guys/orgs like this.

I find it hard to believe that over 70 people have read this post with out one reply. We do need to stick together and I think this was a very well written letter. More of us need to step up to the plate and write letters like this. Hold on to your guns tightly as there are misinformed people trying...

not 204 but it goes bang

O.K. I fell for the look of the 700 vtr in 308. thats the one that sits in the tupperware stock. the trigger is great and down to what I am guessing to be 2.5 lbs. I have only shot the remington factory 150 grain cor-loks thru it, heres what happens. I have been to the range 3 times with this gun an...
