My Ruger 77 VT shoots less than 1/2'' groups at 100 yards. A few weeks ago in WY it kill a p-dog at 533 yards, and by the sounds I woke up to, (WAP - BOOMMM) huntsman22's Ruger shoots fine also.

I got new XR100 in 204 that had recambered in a 20 Practical and it shoots great! I went to Casper WY last weekend on pdog shoot and got to try it out. I was shooting across a field at mound that turn out to be 628 yards a way. I couldn't get my Leica 1200 to range it from where I was at and I forgo...

birddog, You not even notice the shade being on the scope. Shooting pdogs is best on bright sunny days and it cut down on glare and eye strain. Along with what Hotshot and Captqc said it also help protect the front lens. I have a Zeiss 6.5-20 scope and the sunshade is 2 1/2" long and the scope ...
