Re: Tick-Tock....it's almost time
I have been working overseas since 2013 so unfortunately no “meatsickle” for a while. Hoping to be back in Canada for July and August for some rat rodeos. I have 2 more years being overseas and then retirement to give those 204’s the exercise they deserve.

Re: 40 grain Berger stabilization
I use 24.5 gr RL-10X and 25.5 gr of H-4895 for 40 gr Berger’s. Not quite as accurate as the 35 gr Berger’s though. These are with 3, 12 twist tubes so you should have no problem with a 11 twist.

Re: 45 gr sp
I use 24.3 gr of RL-10X. Seems to do well in all three of my rigs but don’t use them much anymore as I prefer the the 35 & 40 gr Berger’s for yotes.

Been a long time since I dropped in. A bit heavy on the extreme posts lol. I stopped after the third one.
Wish y’all a merry Christmas and a happy new year.

Re: Members Meet.....Skippy Flies
Thanks for the story and the pics Rick. You seem to have gotten out a bit earlier than usual. Hoping to do some of that with the Alberta Raptor Feeding Society members in mid May / June.

Re: anyone use the 45 hornady sp?
I see the photos for the line up are no longer available from "predator hunt Canada" so will post these again in regards to lengths and stability of the 45 gr SP's for 1 in 12 twist tubes. http://www.204ruger.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=7237 Been a while since I've been out here. Bee...

Re: Photobucket
I originally used photo bucket way back when but when I posted the frame by frame ground squirrel shots connecting with a 20 cal bullet they deemed it to graphic and blocked my photos. I did a lot of searching for a host for my , ahem, "prairie poodle art" and ended up using another forum ...

Re: 2012 "Meat Bull"
Congratulations! I'm just a little envious - drawing a bull moose tag here in Washington State is a "once in a lifetime" event - and often takes 10 - 20 years, or more, to draw... I'll be astounded if I ever draw a moose tag! Congrats. You did good. I don't know what I would do if I could...

2012 "Meat Bull"
Called this little fella in for a 40 yd shot with "stick n string". Came in on a run from ~300 yds away grunting hard all the way. Good ole "Swamp Donkey's" http://predatorhuntcanada.ca/photos/data/500/2012_Moose.jpg http://predatorhuntcanada.ca/photos/data/500/2012_moo...

Re: Keyholing
Some old info in regards to the 32 gr SBK's tumbling. I did not do any further testing in my T3. I figured if I have to load at minimum charge to prevent the tumbling out of my savages, I would be better off using the 32 gr noslers and the V-max's instead. My overall favorite is still the 39 gr bk's...

Re: Fun with Skippy in 2012 Pt. 1
Wow Rick. I must say I have never seen such an abundance of squirrel mounds packed so close together. True varmint heaven. I'm jealous  Gube: The amazing this is that we can shoot all day in that particular area, then come back the following morning, and it's like we were never there......STI...
