Well, I decided to go with the Leica crf 1200. Should arrive in the mail on Monday. Ordered it from sirmailorder.com
I'm heading out for a bowhunting trip for elk on Tuesday. Hopefully it arrives before I leave.
Thanks for the opinions. I think I will be very happy with the CRF.

Range Finders
Looking to upgrade my range finder. I currently have an old 1996 bushnell 400. I did try a new bushnell rangefinder / bino (quest) but found it rather heavy. I have got it down to a possibilty of three. The Leica 1200 CRF (new model) or LRF (old model). Or the new busnell elite 1500 with arc. If any...

Re: Hornady 20 Caliber 45 Grain Soft Point
The factory 45's did very well out of my VLP. Under a 1/2". I've got some test loads with RL-10X ready for the range.

Thanks for the reply Rick. At the back of the instruction booklet they list another way to sight it in. Set up a large target and shoot a group at it from 500 yds away using the main crosshairs (200 yd zero) on the target. Impact will be signifacantly lower. Take a black marker and make a circle aro...

Sighting in the Leupold ballistic reticle
Just sighted in my 204 with the new Leupold VXL 6.5 - 20 x 56 extreme varmint reticle. A bit confused in regards to using the additional aiming points at different power settings. As per the instructions, I am supposed to have a 200 yd zero and because I am using the extreme varmint, I am supposed t...
