I have been trying to find some 87 gr V-max's for over a year now. My supplier from BC informed me that production should be starting some time early this spring. I am also anticipating some 87 gr berger VLD's to arrive along with the V-max's.

Just curious what others liked best in weight and design. I guess that depends if you plan on saving fur or not. The 35 gr berger is ideal for saving fur. Small 20 cal entrance hole, no exit, insides turned to jello. The 40 gr berger results are very similar, but with a few more exits being the nor...

Welcome aboard mcseal2. There is a ton of good info here on the 204 as well as others from a great bunch of guys. Let us know how your 10 twist "build" goes. You will have no problem flinging the heavier pills with that 10 twist. The 40 gr bergers and the 45 hornady sp's should be ultimate...

canis, You could PM Gube, I'm sure he shoots a Tikka T3 lite synthetic with 35 gr bergers as his favored bullet for yotes with good results. If he sees your post he will reply anyway.
