Re: Realistic rounds per hour count

I picked the low end of 20 only because I use three 204's which would equate to 60 rds per hour. A good busy day for me would be about 300 rounds.

Nice "action shots". I'm just starting to see the little buggers out now. Still in the process of "reloading". Can't wait to head out.

Re: BERGER & 4895

Silverfox, Thats some load! 30+ at a guess? Nice groups. I think i'll stay around 28ish. Do you no longer use that combo? Cheers IKE. FireBallGuy, looks like your gun lost interest in 35s and 4895. Ethan, looks like you got the job right with those groups. Al, please post your results when you get ...

Re: Launch or disintegration?

Guy: If given the choice, I perfer the "launch", but in pieces. The classic one is the "twister launch".....the rat launches upward, twisting from bullet rotation, and while doing so, loses his innards in the opposite direction. Literally spectacular. When he lands, he loo...

Re: 35 gr Bergers to the range...

The bergers print out very nice groups and typically aren't to fussy with powder choices or amounts. To bad they have such a low BC.

A "double" this morning

Went out this morning to top up the ole "meatsickle" with some dog food and left over table scraps as there was nothing left of it. The yotes have turned nocturnal on me and have only been coming in at night. Went down along the bush line and stopped with pail in hand and gave a quick call...

New 30 gr offering from Hornady

I see Hornady has come up with a bunch of lead free offerings from 17(rimfire) to 223 and including a 20 cal 30 gr ballistic tip which appears to have the same BC as the 32 V-max. Should make the Californians happy.
Here is some info on them

Nice snipeing from the "deck" Melvin. Snipeing from the deck is a true "treat" in itself.
