Hot Barrels In SE Oregon
Well we finally got out To explode some varmints and did we ever. .204s and 22-250s ablazin. 7 confirmed rat kills over 400 yrds. And yours truly at the best mark 434 yrds one shot (lucky) and a 410. Another buddy got 428 and 406,another 421 and 403 and finally a 408. Heres some pictures i captuered...

I my Short exp. in centerfire sage rat shooting you need a bench to zero in on them little buggers. I think i am decent shot but 400 yrds without a solid rest not practical and not near as fun. Oregon PDs in Summer,Fall ?
I have been hunting pds in Oregon for about 6 years but always in the spring. I have heard from the farmers that they dont come out in the summer and fall is that true (july,aug,sept,oct)?
