I voted for the 40 grain v-max but it is the only one i have shot . It shot so good i havent needed to try anymore. Heres a 7 shot group

I have both and i wish i had 2 .204s now .They have just as good of launch factor( i think it matters much more on shot placment then cal.) less recoil,less powder ,easier on barrels. Theres no ? which one i perfer.204 RUGER . Also the people at Sportsmans are IDIOTS!!. I know more about there store...

Yea we had a good time , we also had some great video footage . That was the first time we had the video camera and we made some umbrella's for our benches so it was a profitable trip even without great sage rat action. The Best wind bucking bullets around are the Berger Vld Match Grade There B.C is the highest. The 162 grain a-max posted above is also a good B.C bullet But i would stick to Bergers. Weekend Trip
We just got back from SE Oregon hunting Sage Rats. It was pretty hot weather, the alpha was pretty high ,we did find a grass field that was recently cut andhad some rats in it. And we got into some rabbits in the morning and evenings My buddy got a rabbit at 638 yards ,the farthest rat was 421 yards...
